Ms Mia Meng Wu
Graduated from The University of Queensland in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Communications. She served as the Public Relations Manager for the South Australian Tourism Commission’s Shanghai Office, specializing in copywriting and demonstrating a high sensitivity to Chinese characters. She passed the Professional Mandarin test in China and obtained the highest-level certificate.
Currently, she is the director of Darling Downs and Toowoomba Chinese Language School, where she is mainly responsible for the daily management of the school and HSK Chinese proficiency test training. She is also a certified HSK examiner. Ms Wu’s teaching style is delicate, lively and rigorous, and she excels at combining Chinese language education with traditional Chinese culture. She explains profound concepts in simple ways and cultivates students’ enthusiasm and systematic approach to learning Chinese to the greatest extent.
Ms Guo Yong
Guo Yong graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2007 with a master’s degree in accounting and finance. After graduation, she taught Chinese at a local primary school and also taught Chinese in the community and kindergartens, accumulating rich teaching experience. Currently, Guo Yong is pursuing a master’s degree in education at the University of Southern Queensland.
Ms Yong’s teaching style is tailored to each student’s needs and is characterized by respect for every child. She is dedicated to creating a lively and engaging learning environment where students can enjoy learning Chinese. She hopes that every child will fall in love with learning Chinese in a happy and joyful atmosphere. Through personalized teaching methods, Guo Yong stimulates students’ interest in learning, helping them master Chinese in a relaxed and enjoyable environment while gradually building their confidence and sense of achievement in learning the language.
Ms Yanting Deng
Graduated from domestic higher education university and holds a domestic teacher qualification certificate. Mrs. Deng has more than ten years of teaching experience in domestic primary, secondary schools and international high school. She has got Putonghua proficiency test level 2A and reached the national teaching level of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
Mrs. Deng has a better understanding of the cultural differences between China and the West, and the psychology and learning methods of overseas students. She believes that the role of teachers is not to teach but to help students learn happily. She is good at adding music and rhythmic teaching to Chinese class. At the same time, Mrs. Deng is also very serious, responsible and caring. She has rich theoretical knowledge of pedagogy and can integrate Western children’s educational concepts into Chinese teaching, so that children can learn Chinese happily and learn Chinese well.
